This family-owned company founded 1971 by Helmut Seger is based in Schopfheim in the Black Forest. It includes today the divisions innovative electrical engineering and professional automation. Seger Elektro GmbH ranks among the top electrical partners in the region and counts currently more than 50 employees.
Seger sites located in Schopfheim, Todtnau and Basel supply all electrical customers: private, industry and crafts. The range covers electrical installations, control technology for buildings, machines and plants, electrical heating systems, heat pumps, cogeneration, energy management, network technology, building control systems, fire alarm, alarm and telephone systems, light signaling systems, video surveillance, television and satellite antenna construction, door drives, photovoltaic systems and thermal solar systems.
Many customers have been faithful to Seger Elektro since the beginning and many others joined them throughout the years. The company is currently run by the second generation, and it will go on distinguishing itself by quality, reliability, customer proximity and innovative spirit in the future.
IIn March 2020, the Seger company decided to develop its Automation branch and acquired the Automation division of Benninger Zell GmbH based in Zell im Wiesental. Seger continues this independent division in Schopfheim under the name Seger Automation GmbH.
With the gained size and strength of the Benninger Automation brand, the Automation branch will be able to proactively meet the increasingly complex market challenges. The use of synergies will allow expanding this business division. The offer of products and services becomes more diversified, allowing Seger to meet even better the changing customer demands.
